**Job Description**:
Are you a Cost Manager looking to work on building projects that can change the world, projects that are always more complex and innovative than the last?
If so, we are looking for an experienced Project Level Cost Manager with 5 years + experience to join our team in either Liverpool, Manchester or Leeds. You will be joining a team of like-minded experts that have a passion for innovation and delivering cutting edge solutions.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to;
- Cost planning
- Cost options
- Value engineering
- Contractual advice
- Pre tender estimates
- Bill of Quantities preparation
- Tender reports
- On site cost control
- Presentations to clients.
**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Degree Qualified - BSc or MSc - in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management or appropriate conversion course
- Proven experience in a consulting environment providing Cost Management services
- Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to challenge in a positive and engaging manner.
- Ability to work under own initiative where appropriate working closely with team lead and clients
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Professionally Qualified - ideally Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the SCSI / RICS, but not a minimum requirement.
- A clear work history and proof of professional development and learning
- Experience of preparing bid submissions.
- Prior line-management experience or mentoring
- Experience of client facing & developer liaison roles
