Job Title: Security Officer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.Working a minimum of 4 x 12 Hour shifts per week consisting of day and night shifts on a rolling roster basis. 5.5 weeks paid holiday per year
Shift times 0700 to 1900 and 1900 to 0700
This is an excellent opportunity for someone either already working in the Security Industry or someone who wants a career change and who wishes to be trained/developed in this field.
Working in a busy outdoor shopping centre, ensuring excellent customer service is delivered to both internal and external customers at all times. Duties to include patrolling and monitoring site, carrying out unit fire tests, weekly and monthly site audits, dealing with first aid incidents, filling in incident reports, upholding site rules and regulations, carrying out hard surface cleaning whilst on night shift shift
Full training will be provided
**Duties**:
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the security of the premises
- Monitor surveillance equipment and respond to alarms
- Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized access
- Respond to emergencies and provide assistance as needed
- Complete detailed reports documenting security incidents
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in security or related field preferred
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques
- First aid certification is a plus
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance equipment
