We are exclusively supporting a fast-growing pharmaceutical business to recruit for a GDP Responsible Person / RP to join the business on the next phase of their journey.

**About the business**:
The business have had phenomenal growth and despite a few challenging periods economically across the industry, they have been able to buck the trend, seeing real commercial growth in recent years.

The business sources and supplies a range over pharmaceutical, medical and healthcare products globally to a diverse customer base, underpinned by an extensive logistics and supply chain network, solid customer service team and a highly dynamic sales team.

**The role**:
The GDP Responsible Person role is focused on supporting the business to ensure and maintain compliance across all areas of their operation. You will be a custodian of quality by ensuring the right processes are in place and being adhered to. Whilst youwill focus on always promoting the quality culture within the business, the GDP Responsible Person / RP will also support the business by advising on the regulatory aspects that relate to their commercial activities.

**Key responsibilities for the GDP Responsible Person / RP role**:

- Assessing the suitability and competence of third-party contractors.
- Validating key equipment/processes to ensure correct installation and operations.
- Customer and Supplier Qualification and verification.
- Reporting on deviations from process, perform RAs and implement CAPAs to continuously improve systems and processes.
- Ensuring all activities are recorded clearly, accurately and concisely and that data integrity of these records is maintained.
- Identifying and delivering company GDP training where required
- Previously worked as a Responsible Person / RP - ideally have been named on a WDA(H) licence.
- Comprehensive experience of investigating complaints and deviations using previous experience and highly developed problem-solving skills.
- Understand the requirement of carrying out EEA and International bona fide customer and supplier checks.
- Extensive experience of authoring and reviewing new and existing company procedures.
- Experience of performing Internal and External Audits.
- A team player, with excellent listening and communication skills who is able to provide feedback in a constructive and articulate manner, and capable of working unsupervised and alone.
