We have a great opportunity for a Commissioning Manager to join our project in the Southwest where we are a delivery partner on a key infrastructure project.

This is a Hybrid role with regular travel to Plymouth.

The Commissioning Manager is accountable to the Commissioning Director for the definition of requirements, scope of work and commissioning operations required to deliver the work associated with the Commissioning scope of work in support of the Programme.

The Commissioning Manager will be accountable for the line management of a team of Project staff, Specialist Consultants and contractors to deliver the agreed requirements.

**Principal tasks and responsibilities to include**:

- Lead, Manage and Coordinate the Commissioning team with the development and delivery of the scope, liaising with the other functional groups.
- To implement and comply with the project SHE requirements and legal obligations. Lead and promote the Nuclear Safety Culture within the works undertaken both with the direct team and in-direct wider team.
- Deliver key management functions in support of the overall project delivery, including schedule, financial and risk functions.
- Management and execution of commissioning in accordance with established procedures and arrangements
- Establishment of an effective organisational structure to meet project commissioning targets including logic, programmes and reporting of progress.
- Develop and manage handover of equipment from construction to commissioning, and commissioning to operations, ensuring relevant certification and associated records are provided by construction and agreed by commissioning.
- Provide support to the design and design review process on behalf of commissioning.
- Schedule/ Programme generation and management of the commissioning activities and ensuring the commissioning programme is adhered to
- Ensuring that appropriately calibrated Test Equipment is used during the execution of all commissioning activities;
- Check all appointments are made to control the delivery of the project with particular reference to HSSE obligations and ensure that those individuals have the skills, knowledge, experience and to carry out their responsibility.

**About you**
- A minimum HNC in engineering or a related field.
- Site Safety Management accreditation and CSCS
- Relevant commissioning experience in a nuclear or heavily regulated environment.
