We are a busy accountancy practice dealing with all sizes of clients, with client care being at the forefront of everything we do.

**What does this role involve?**

The role will be within our bookkeeping & outsourcing team where you will be responsible for:

- maintaining client accounting records and reconciliations on a range of software
- preparation of VAT returns
- preparation of CIS returns
- preparation of accounts up to trial balance
- preparation of monthly management accounts
- occasionally may be required to travel locally to clients

Experience of working in practice is preferable with the ability to use software such as Sage 50, Xero, QuickBooks or similar.

It would be advantageous to have the following knowledge and skills, but we welcome all applicants to join our talented team:

- Ability to work as part of a wider team as well as independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with cloud accounting software and Microsoft Office 365

**Salary**: Competitive salary, to be discussed depending on experience and skills.

**Experience**:

- Bookkeeping: 3 years (required)

Qualification/Certification:

- Qualified or Qualified by Experience
