**Data Controller - £45,000 - £47,500 - Remote - Perm role**

We are seeking an ambitious and diligent data controller to join our growing practice. Working closely with our client data owners and our technical team, the individual will be responsible for developing, managing, and evolving the data quality and managementcontrol processes, procedures and data governance to ensure the critical data sets required by the platform have integrity and fidelity.

**Role overview**:

- Experience managing governance and control of system-critical data sets
- Demonstrable foundational data quality analysis skills using MS Excel (including use of simple macros and pivot tables)
- Understanding of key fundamentals of good data architecture and data quality management
- Current working knowledge of GDPR and Data Protection Act (2018)

**Key skills**:

- Specify data quality management processes, procedures, controls
- Write or refresh data management governance principles/terms of reference
- Represent team on client governance sand/or chairing internal governance to ensure data quality management is established and maintained
- Take 'virtual ownership' of client data sets to ensure data quality management has continuity of management
