OVERVIEW:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior National Account Manager to work for a family-owned supplier of new and used products that has seen its business go through a massive period of growth. They are looking to take on a new SNAM to take a lead on branchingout and developing existing and new accounts and make an impact in that area.
THE ROLE:
The company is going through a strong period of growth as they have secured some major nationwide service-based contracts and plan to expand further both within the United Kingdom and also Europe.
This will involve:
Managing and securing existing National Accounts
Developing and extending services to existing National Accounts
Identifying new opportunities in other sectors
Offering our services to potential new National Accounts
Continuous improvement, constantly looking at more efficient ways of working.
The role will be split approximately 20% new business and 80% account maintenance.
THE CANDIDATE:
We are looking for a strong can-do Senior National Account Manager that has experience of managing multiple national accounts. Your outlook will be one of making decisions, using your initiative and getting things done.
This role would not suit a SNAM that needs to rely on the day-to-day support of multiple internal departments. We want a SNAM that is used to getting things done and making things happen. We are a small team really going places.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
Strong National Accounts experience
Experience with a wide variety of customers including using large customer portals
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with customers
Ability to work on own initiative
Good IT skills.
