**Location**: Remote (UK wide)

**Salary**: £90,000 (negotiable) + car allowance, bonus (circa 20%) and benefits

**Summary**:
This is one of the world's leading producers within their field. They distribute their product through tankers across the UK managed by a third party haulage supplier.

This role will sit as the National Head of Retail Contracts, reports into the board and plays a lead role in the strategic direction and development of the UK business. Furthermore, there is accountability for a cohort of professionals across distributionand contract management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Overall accountability for the contract management of a £25m annual distribution contract with a third party haulage supplier as well as daily operations associated with national distribution.
- Top level responsibility for the contract management of distribution in the Republic of Ireland.
- Management of the Distribution Services function and operational management of the relationship with the 3PL for new site assessments.
- Alongside the management of the national haulage contract, there is also responsibility for the functioning of a handful of regional distribution contracts.
- Strategic project involvement within the Marketing leadership team.

Key Skills/Experience:

- Possessing a track record in managing a relationship with a third party distribution supplier, this may or may not be in relation to the supply of product through a tanker network.
- Highly experienced in logistics contract and operational management with knowledge of unionised working environments. This could be on client or 3PL side.
- An accomplished relationship developer allied to strong negotiation, analysis and financial evaluation skills.
- Prior knowledge of contract tender processes would be advantageous.
- A skilled people manager with the ability to organise and motivate internal and external teams nationally.
- An ability to present to groups of people both internally and externally at senior and board level.
