We are currently looking for a **Transport Supervisor** to join our friendly team based at Aberthaw in Barry.

**Role Responsibility**:
The role of **Transport Supervisor **will be responsible for
- Daily supervision of the team of Drivers, Logistics and Weighbridge staff ensuring key performance Indicators (KPIs) are achieved, including service, safety and financial targets.
- Ensure legal and operational compliance with Statutory and Company safety standards, including fleet and drivers.
- Manage internal transport services in accordance with Tarmac Transport Operations Manual.
- Be the daily operational interface with key third party transport partners while on shift.
- Manage daily relationships with the Depot industrial team.
- Assume Transport Manager responsibilities as and when required
- Assume responsibility for the scheduling of customer orders to own and third-party fleet as and when required.
- HND or equivalent is desirable
- CPC qualification (essential)
- IOSH Managing Safety (desirable but can be trained)
- Make day to day decisions regarding the safe and efficient operation of the company vehicle fleet
