Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Worker to join our team. As a Childcare Worker, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care. **Responsibilities**:

- Communicate effectively with professionals regarding the children and any concerns
- Create and implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development
- Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being
- Maintain a clean and organised home to ensure all risks are eliminated and is a friendly home they are living in.
- Manage daily routines, be able to plan an effective shift.
- Provide guidance and support to children as they navigate social interactions and when they are dysregulated.
- Engage children in educational and recreational activities that promote their physical, emotional, and cognitive development

Qualifications:

- Experience working with children in a childcare or similar setting
- Fluent in English (verbal and written communication)
- Valid full UK driver's license (required for transportation of children to be able to drive company car)
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage children
- preferable to hold Psychology, Counselling degree, Child care degree, Level 3 Residential Childcare, Working with families degree, Youth work degree.

Pay: £26,522.96-£30,331.56 per year

**Education**:

- Certificate of Higher Education (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
- Residential Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- UK Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 20/05/2024
