A unique opportunity has arisen to join the CAMHS Senior Management Team for the CWAMH Care Group as a Personal Assistant.

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated individual to provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support. This is a busy and varied role, and you will bring excellent organisational skills, minute taking and diary management experience. The Personal Assistant is the first point of contact for the Senior Management team and so excellent communication skills are required. Experience of providing administrative support at a Senior Management Level would be advantageous to the role.

The role will be based at The Becton Centre however there will be on occasions the need to travel to other sites to support the team.

As a Personal Assistant for the CWAMH Care Group you will need to build strong relationships and provide comprehensive support for the CAMHS Senior Management Team.

You should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in addition to a clear understanding of confidentiality. You must possess a good working knowledge of IT packages and the ability to work across a multi-disciplinary team.

Role Overview

Be responsible for organising and maintaining the effective management of the diaries of individual the Senior Management Team to include co-ordinating appointments, organising meetings and using independent judgement to make necessary revisions, liaising with all relevant parties in an efficient and effective way.

Attend Senior Management Team level meetings and other meetings as required, taking and transcribing complex minutes and matters arising reports for approval, ensuring that there is a good record which ensures that decisions are recorded, referenced and future action can be taken at the appropriate level.

Provide effective and helpful first-line liaison with clinicians/staff and external stakeholders including representatives from Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), NHS England, regulators, other NHS trusts, local authorities, auditors, patients / carers / members of the public and the media. This will include dealing with highly confidential and sensitive issues.
