**Duties**:

- Checking payroll submissions from specified schools to to ensure data provided is accurate and correct.
- Maintain the payroll inbox and respond to queries from employees and outsourced payroll provider
- Liase with Human Resources Department and where necessary outsorced payroll provider on payroll queries
- Process and reconcile Attachment of Earnings Orders
- Process expenses claims ensuring they comply with the Trusts expenses policy
- Provide advise and training to schools on all payroll related matters.
- Reconcile deductions for various employee benefits such as the Cycle to Work Scheme
- Prepare payroll year-end returns, documents and reports.
- Provide ad-hoc payroll reports and information on request
- Monitor ePayslip and P60 processes and provide guidance to employees where required.
- Collate information required for completion of annual PSA and P11d forms, ensure timely submission to HMRC and deal with any queries arising.
- Support with providing data to external auditors for annual TPS audit and responding to queries.
- Maintain a working knowledge of pay and condition rules in the sector as detailed in the 'Burgandy and Green books'
- Maintain Data Protection standards and remain vigilant of changes to legislation.
- Any other duties as reasonably required.
