Yard Assistant

We are looking for a new addition to our team, G H Richards is a busy roofing merchant servicing customers from the trade and the public.

**We are looking for a team member who can assist with the following**:

- Serving customers by helping them load orders paid for at the trade counter.
- Loading and unloading delivery lorries with a forklift
- To assist in checking all materials ordered have arrived and they are free from damage
- Picking orders for delivery on our fleet, checking what they have loaded is correct.
- Occasionally delivering orders to sites with our 3.5t flatbed.

**What we expect from you**:

- Will need to have excellent attention to detail.
- Must be able to comprehensively understand written and verbal instruction and be prepared to work hard
- Must be consistent in coming to work on time
- Must have Full UK Driving License
- Experience with forklift operation is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- Monday to Thursday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
- Friday 07:30 am - 4:00 pm

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)

Pay: From £22,500.00 per year
