An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Exeter Agency.
**About the role/responsibilities**:
Deliver maximum profitable growth through the delivery of personal sales and marketing initiatives leading to the compliant sale of NFU Mutual General Insurance and Risk Management Services products and the generation of Life leads in a manner designed to establish long term and effective relationships with target customers, within the local community.
1. Plan, prospect, select and sell General Insurance to target customers that are designed to meet their long term needs, compliant with sales quality and advice standards and regulatory requirements to meet personal and Branch targets.
2. Review, evaluate and process the portfolio of existing customers to ensure retention, and the generation of new business to maintain compliant and profitable growth and expand the NFUM reputation for excellent service.
3. Identify, develop and generate Life and Risk Management Service leads from existing and new customers to meet relevant targets and reinforce the relationship with and the reputation of NFUM.
4. Build and maintain effective relationships with field sales teams, Regional Service Centre teams and external Farming Unions to establish NFUM as an effective ad profitable provider of insurance services to its target customers.
5. Maintain own knowledge and skills to sell professionally and compliantly, delivering a consistently good experience to customers to meet the requirements and standards of NFUM, T&C scheme and our regulators.
**About you**:
Graduate calibre
Certified CII desirable
Current car licence preferably
Microsoft office competent essential
**Experience & Knowledge**:
- Experience of face-to-face sales, achievement of results in a targeted environment and the meeting of Training and Competence requirements.
- Competent in using office and sales support systems.
