EXPERIENCED LEGIONELLA RISK ASSESSOR NEEDED FOR A WATER MANAGEMENT AND FACILITIES SERVICE COMPANY.

CLIENT:

- The client is an established and successful water services company operating across the UK. They provide hygiene, treatment and legionella services and provide high quality work that have earned them renown in the industry.

ROLE:

- As a legionella risk assessor you will be working mainly on industrial sites conducting legionella risk assessments, followed by time spent at home (or in the closest office).
- The role involves traveling in and around South Wales and the lower Midlands.

CANDIDATE:

- You must have experience performing legionella risk assessments.
- You must worked on cooling towers and have knowledge of current cooling tower regulations.
- Ideally you should have a city and guilds legionella risk assessment qualification or equivalent.
- You should be interested in developing and learning new skills.
- You must be happy to travel around the South Wales and the lower Midlands.
- You must have a UK driver’s license.

PACKAGE:

- £30k - £35k basic salary
- Training into new skills and disciplines as desired
- Company car or van
- 10% non-contributory pension and 21 days holiday Responsibilities:

- Conduct water hygiene assessments and inspections in accordance with industry regulations and standards
- Perform water sampling and analysis to assess water quality and identify potential risks
- Carry out routine maintenance and servicing of water systems, including cleaning and disinfection
- Install, repair, and maintain water treatment equipment and systems
- Provide recommendations for remedial actions to address identified issues or risks
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and produce detailed reports

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in the water hygiene industry is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of building regulations and health and safety guidelines related to water hygiene
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools for installation and maintenance tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
