Who we're looking for at Cazenove Capital
We're looking for a Senior Client Service Executive to join our Wealth Management division known as Cazenove Capital, which is part of the Schroders group. You will work alongside a team of Portfolio Managers and Directors and will be a critical part of the client team and in some cases serving as the first port of call for clients in their dealings and administrative requests. You will take a proactive role alongside the Portfolio Manager in delivering excellent client service.

You'll be busy, hands-on and can-do. You will develop deep technical knowledge of our processes and systems and work across the business to challenge, develop and improve our processes and foster a wider understanding. You will be a 'go-to' person for colleagues at all levels across the business.

The base: We have a new office in the financial centre of London. we have everything here we need to work flexibly.

The team: We're part of Cazenove Capital, the Schroders business that manages wealth for our clients - individuals, family groups and charities.

We are open to flexible working, so we can all balance our personal and professional commitments. This role is open to part time applicants.

What you'll do

You will have experience / specialise in one or more of the following areas:

- Management - an experienced manager leading a team of other CSEs and mentoring less experienced colleagues
- Client Relationships - you will be a critical part of the client facing team, attending client meetings and in some cases serving as the first port of call for clients in their dealings with Cazenove. You will take a proactive role alongside the Portfolio Manager in delivering excellent client service
- Operational - you will have deep technical knowledge of our processes and systems and work across the business to challenge, develop and improve our processes and foster a wider understanding. You will be a ‘go-to' person for colleagues at all levels across the business

Day to day activities
- Support our clients and the Portfolio Management team by providing the information they need
- Set up accounts for new clients and intermediaries and arrange meetings with them. Work closely with Operations teams to make our clients' experiences seamless
- Make sure that client accounts and portfolios are kept compliant with regulations and our procedures
- Create cash-transfer requests, liaising with Fund Managers and complying with regulations to make sure we meet clients' instructions
- Check clients' transaction statements, monitor outstanding deals and report any errors
- Keep colleagues informed about their clients, reporting any changes, queries or problems
- Help team members with, complete and distribute client reports
- Be a point of contact for clients, intermediaries, solicitors, trustees and accountants - answering their questions, knowing where to go for help, and keeping a record of their enquiries.
- For some clients you will be the first port of call for clients and will be a valuable contributor to the continuity of the relationship. You will work closely with Portfolio Managers and Directors and have a comprehensive understanding of the needs of the clients you are working with
- You may be asked to contribute to business-wide client service and internal process committees. You will build a strong internal network and have a good understanding of the key client service issues affecting the business
- You may be asked to attend client meetings with Portfolio Managers & Directors
- Take on responsibility for systems training, testing and improving internal processes. You will have excellent technical knowledge and the experience to highlight and share best practice throughout the business when required. You should be comfortable challenging the status quo when appropriate

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
- Excellent IT skills, especially with the Microsoft Office suite
- Extensive experience of client service in the financial sector
- An interest in wealth management
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to multi-task
- Previous experience of client facing responsibilities and/or line management
- Previous experience of collaboration and teamwork
