SENIOR /ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE 50,000
You will be responsible for servicing accounts from 'cradle to grave' for our clients including written and telephone discussions with new and existing clients, renewal administration, preparation of presentations to insurers, negotiating premiums with underwriters together with providing pro-active claims handling service for customers. Obtain renewal terms for customers and identify potential alternative quotations before producing presentations for discussion with Senior Management and customers.
* Ensure that all documentation is issued within Contract Certainty deadlines.
* Confirm cover with relevant insurers, process policies and chase up outstanding documentation when required.
* Assist the Accounts department to ensure prompt payment of premiums for cases handled
* Handle and prepare new claims liaising with insurers and customers. Monitor progress of claims with Insurers, Loss Adjusters and customers through the cycle of the claim. Ensure prompt payment once a claim settlement is agreed.
* Deal with Insurer queries in relation to customer policies.
* Prepare debit notes, invoices and policy summaries.
* Develop and maintain effective customer relationships with clients, and other company contacts. Assist the team to retain existing client base and assist with phone queries as required.
* Maintain agreed service levels ensuring that all Customers are Treated Fairly.
* Assist where necessary with team training including providing a working understanding of current and proposed FCA guidelines.
* If received handle and acknowledge complaints. Be fully aware of FCA guidelines and respond within FCA timescales, keeping Senior Management fully updated at all times.
* Provide experienced support to the overall team, handling technical enquiries from members of staff as required. Support Senior Management in the provision of advice and technical excellence to clients.
* Manages the office training process and Broker Assess system, reviewing staff progress against Personal Development Plans agreed at the annual appraisal.
* To stand in for Managing Director when needed and perform other duties to support him
