WHAT TO EXPECT
We are looking for a talented Project Leader to join our Cross Car Line Technology team.

As a Project Leader within Commodity Strategy, you will be responsible leading and co-ordinating multi-disciplinary stakeholder groups with the aim of delivering Body/Chassis commodity strategy projects to a defined set of targets and attributes. The role will support the authoring of papers to be presented at Senior Commodity Strategy reviews, providing constructive challenge to the proposed strategies and associated roll out plans.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Responsible for building relationships and an approach for delivering clear input signals into a number of the Vehicle Commodity Strategies.
- Driving of cross functional teams to deliver to an agreed timeline ahead of Senior reviews.
- Authoring and presentation of proposals at Senior Reviews up to Level 1.
- Support the development of Cross Car Line Unit (high investment, long lead) Part strategies for future architectures and programmes.
- Support the translation of required customer experiences into a defined technology roadmap, with supporting business cases and consideration of full value chain.
- Developing and maintaining processes and tools connected to the role and driving adherence to those processes.
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time to time.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Ability to develop and maintain leverage within cross-functional networks.
- Ability to disseminate complex strategic issues into straightforward communications that can be absorbed easily and confidently presented to Seniors.
- Business acumen including ability to interpret and understand levers to develop a value proposition.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with self-confidence to constructively challenge inputs from existing knowledge or through use of a strong network.
- Thorough organisation and planning skills required to deliver complex projects with pace and urgency when role dictates.
- Awareness of global industry trends, consumer competitor & future trends, product, market knowledge and brand.
- Understanding of the hierarchy of Architectures, Systems, Sub systems and Components.
