**About the Role**

**Key Requirements**
- Liaising with relevant stakeholders to discuss tender specifications
- Conducting research on the client and project
- Lead the preparation of major tender submissions including coordination, project management and writing as required.
- Responsible for producing high quality written responses for tender questions, meeting all evaluation criteria
- Writing new business tenders and proposals and liaising with internal stakeholders throughout the tendering process.
- Engaging with internal departments and collating their input to create material, which is coherent, compelling and well-structured.
- Carrying out final document reviews.
- Ensuring the timely submission of tenders and other proposals.
- Managing tender clarification questions and messages via tender portals.
- Maintaining an awareness of contracts due for tender and taking responsibility for acquiring tender documentation.
- Take responsibility in each stage of the bid process, from opportunity through to submission and set objectives and targets which will run in line with tender deadlines.
- Transferring writing skills and ability to dissect specifications and client requirements to support the preparation of grant/tender funding submissions to Horizon Europe and similar European schemes.

**Skills / Experience**
- Proven track record in writing, managing and delivering large scale, complex bids, tenders, projects and concurrent, smaller projects, including overseas.
- Writing persuasive and compelling tender documents
- Excellent standard of written English and attention to detail is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; a strong stakeholder manager, team worker, and communicator.
- Conversant within competitive marketplaces.
