Investor Relations Intern (London) - Summer 2024- Join our Investor Relations team in London- The D. E. Shaw group seeks creative, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious students to join our Investor Relations (IR) team as interns in our London office in Summer 2024. As an IR intern, you’ll collaborate with a global team of investor relations professionals and learn about the firm’s investment strategies, products, and clients. - What you’ll do day-to-dayYou’ll help enhance various communication efforts, conduct prospect
- and investor-focused research, complete a variety of special projects, participate in brainstorming sessions with colleagues, and attend meetings with investors. Throughout the summer, you’ll work closely with your manager and other mentors who will support your professional development. You’ll exercise existing strengths and develop new ones through our robust, customized learning curriculum designed to help you build a strong foundational knowledge of our firm and industry. You’ll also have regular opportunities to learn about us and our industry from internal and external experts, get to know employees across the firm, and enjoy events and outings with other interns and colleagues.
