**Purpose of the role**:
To work alongside the **Lead Youth & Play Worker**to develop and deliver structured open access and occasional targeted youth sessions to children/young people aged **8-18 years** across specified areas within Worcester City.

**Responsibilities, duties, and tasks**
- To work directly with young people 8-18 years to enable their personal development and social education by assisting in the development and delivery of structured open access and occasional targeted youth sessions.
- To support Lead to plan, deliver and evaluate activities delivered within youth sessions.
- To establish and build relationships with young people to design, deliver and continually evaluate youth sessions that will contribute to meeting the identified needs of the group.
- To be aware of service targets and outcomes and ensure that the youth sessions make a positive contribution to achieving them.
- To encourage, motivate and support staff, students, and volunteers.
- To carry out relevant day-to-day administration in support of the smooth running of the project and the procedures of the Trust.
- To monitor and maintain standards of work to ensure appropriate quality assurance including supporting other workers in achieving positive outcomes.
