**Role Overview**

The Testing Practice Lead is responsible for ensuring that Group Functions Technology executes testing within product teams or implementation projects with efficiency, agility, and efficacy. This role focuses on embedding testing best practice, testing continuous improvement and test automation primarily in the Product Teams of the Technology Services Domain but also within the other domains.

**What you'll do**:

- Executing testing as required within the Technology Services Product Teams (Group Data Product Team, Google Cloud Platform Product Team, Microsoft Digital Dataverse Product Team).
- Support the Heads of Technology to identify, and/or upskill resources noting that many product teams will not be large enough to warrant dedicated testers.
- Support Heads of Technology to identify, assess and manage risks resulting from test practices.
- Support Heads of Technology to ensure that test environments are managed effectively.
- Maintain testing KPIs and metrics and use these metrics to provide quality assurance and drive improvements in test effectiveness

**What you'll bring**:

- Experience and demonstrated success in leading, coaching and motivating a team of professionals
- Experience in leading QA and test deliverables for multiple releases, projects, and programmes
- Experience with test automation technologies and integrating these to CI/CD and devOps practices
- Collecting data and measure effectiveness of testing and quality of releases
- Leading the implementation and maintenance of automated test suites/scripts
