Case manage, line manage and, as appropriate, clinically supervise staff in the service as delegated by and agreed with the Team Leader Manage staff attendance at training, monitor their performance, set objectives through the appraisal system and maintain clear expectations of staff behaviour based on the Trusts Values and policies Attend the service management meeting as agreed with the Team Leader and Service Lead, and particularly to deputise for the Team Leader in their absence Deputise for the Team Leader when necessary in all other aspects of the Team Leaders role to support the Service Lead and the work of the team and service, as appropriate and agreed Demonstrate negotiation, motivational, explanation and reassurance skills across a range of management issues Manage and support staff through change using the appropriate human resource processes Oversee the development of services within the locality to meet the needs of local people Assist the Team Leader in the verification of staff travel & expenses, time sheets and any other costs and invoices Coordinate the acceptance of referrals via agreed protocols within the service and national TT guidelines Maintain the quality of assessments for all interventions and undertake the same as needed and agreed Maintain a personal clinical and supervision caseload, as suitable to individual qualifications, as agreed with the Team Leader of a size at least sufficient to maintain appropriate clinical accreditations, and as helpful to the team and service Make decisions on the correct pathways for new referrals, adhering to the service referral protocols, and liaising with secondary care or other services as required Case manage and oversee the formulation, implementation and evaluation of therapy interventions for clients Educate and involve family members and others in treatment as necessary Adhere to an agreed activity plan for the team and individuals in regard to the number of client contacts offered and clinical sessions carried out per week. This is in order to minimise waiting times and ensure treatment delivery remains accessible and convenient. Attend multi-disciplinary meetings relating to referrals or clients in treatment, where appropriate Complete all requirements relating to data collection within the service and ensure team members do the same. Keep coherent records of all clinical activity in line with service protocols and national TT guidelines Work closely with other members of the team ensuring appropriate step-up and step-down arrangements are in place to maintain a stepped care approach and timely access to a wide range of evidence-based interventions Assess and integrate issues surrounding work and employment into the overall therapy process Carry out clinical audits of service performance, including service user surveys and evaluations, and help to collate and disseminate the results for feedback Leading on projects across the service in line with improving clinical Recovery Rates Promote and maintain links with Primary Care and Secondary Care Staff, and any other stakeholders to help co-ordinate the provision of an effective TT service Provide advice on matters related to the practice and delivery of TT therapeutic interventions to individuals/groups/committees across the Trust and to GPs and community agencies Offer presentations on anxiety and depression and the work of the TT service to interested parties to increase the profile of the service and numbers of referrals Deliver CPD events locally and service wide relating to relevant TT clinical themes and interventions
