Such a great opportunity has been createdWe are looking for an engaging and experienced **Learning & Development Manager** who has experience in building and delivering on a **learning and development strategy** for an expanding SMB.This is a role where you really can make an impact on the employee journey.Reporting in to the **HR Director**, your **L&D strategy** will support and enhance the overall **People Strategy** to support with business growth.
You will be charismatic, collaborative and engaging - working across the **HR** function, it will be your responsibility to assess requirements, looking at **skills gaps**, on boarding and training that is currently in place and build something that really is fit for purpose and delivers **training** across customer service, people management, values, equality and diversity and much more.
You will gain understanding of individual's development and **training** needs and produce innovative ideas and initiatives that move the business forward in its **learning culture**, driving forward training initiatives to further foster the lifelong **learning** ethos.
You will plan, design and deliver training modules to different audiences from new starters, experienced employees and the leadership team.Using an array of methods, from classroom sessions through to videos, desk-side coaching and workshops, your trainingwill be built to suit the situation and **learning** styles.
What we are looking for:
It goes without saying, we are really looking for somebody experienced in heading up **L&D** for a business, however this person must equally be happy to deliver the **training** (at least until the team grows), so you absolutely need to be happy to role your sleeves up and get stuck in.
The ideal individual will already have experience training in the Customer Service/Sales space - ideally in a contact centre setting.
You will be confident in tracking performance of **training programmes**, be able to write reports and recommend strategies for improvement.
It goes without saying that you are an excellent communicator, both verbal and written.
You will have excellent organisation, planning and time management skills.
Being responsible for **Learning and Development** for a rapidly expanding company, you must be self-motivated, decisive and have the ability to adapt to change.
