The University of Central Lancashire is developing a modern, innovative veterinary programme, focussed on producing clinically competent, compassionate, and pragmatic graduates. The School of Veterinary Medicine believes that everyone, regardless of background, has an opportunity to turn their aspirations of a career in animal care into a reality. We are seeking to appoint an applicant to lead in course development, management and delivery in the area of Veterinary anatomy and structure and function at UCLan.

As a self-motivated and pro-active individual, the successful applicant will have an excellent track record of building and sustaining internal and external relationships alongside excellent communication and networking skills.
- Detailed knowledge of systems physiology and anatomy across the domestic species
- Experience in delivering high quality innovative teaching, learning and assessment in a higher education establishment
- Academic leadership, organisational and project planning skills
- Professional teaching qualifications or membership of the HE Academy (fellow or senior fellow)
- Enthusiastic, collaborative, adaptable and flexible person that is willing to step in and help where and when required is highly desirable
