**We are looking to add a Trainee Cake Decorator to our** **team.**

Excellent opportunity to learn the craft of cake decorating as part of a skilled and professional team.

- Have a passion for cake making, sugar craft and learning how to improve their skills.
- Be a team player, happy to assist and learn from our experienced staff.
- Be a confident driver ideally with use of your own car.

**The role will include;**:

- Learning how to ice and decorate cakes and cupcakes to a high standard at speed.
- Packaging up our celebration cakes for travel
- Checking orders for additional items, candles/messages/toppers etc.
- Keeping the front shop clean and tidy
- prepping for the follwing day's orders, creating sugar elements for our cakes.
- Delivering and setting up our wedding cakes at wedding venues (with full training)

You must be available to work Saturday mornings

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25-30 per week

**Salary**: From £10.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edinburgh, EH4 1LY: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
