As Head of Syndication, you will be responsible for driving the distribution strategy for the Global Financing & Credit Trading (GFCT) financing businesses, handling the client interaction and managing transactions through to execution. Fixed Income & Currencies (FIC) Financing in Europe encompasses core financing businesses (including Asset Back Securities, Transportation, Infrastructure & Energy, Direct Lending and Commercial Real Estate) which offer primary issuance, structuring & syndication, warehouse financing, Secured Financing and Private debt transactions to corporate and institutional clients.

You will report jointly to the Head of GFCT Germany, and the European Head of Syndication and you will be accountable for all syndication activities in Germany.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Contribute to the formulation of GFCT origination and distribution strategy to ensure it is aligned to Bank/ divisional strategy, meets regional legal/ regulatory/ risk requirements, and monitors its implementation in the region, including financial performance
- Ensure coordination of activities and initiatives across the various businesses within GFCT
- Contribute to Group-wide strategic projects from a GFCT Financing perspective
- Oversee business delivery in line with relevant risk management framework (Financial & Non-Financial)
- Oversee distribution and syndication procedures and ensure compliant with all relevant policies, laws and regulation
- Oversee client life cycle and product governance within the region, and take the lead on and support key client relationships

**Your skills and experience**
- Educated to University degree or equivalent qualification/work experience
- Experience leading a distribution/ syndicate team
- Established senior relationships with leading players in the financing markets
- A track record of delivering revenue and client solutions
- Understanding, and ability to understand, macro market and industry trends
