**SMS is one of the UK’s leading independent Water Hygiene specialists, driving the evolution of the Water Treatment field with innovation and best practice to ensure the safety of the people in the communities we serve.**

Due to continual company expansion and growth into new business areas, we are now looking for an innovative and passionate Marketing & Communications Executive to support our UK wide operations. Your role is key in the creation of innovative Marketing campaigns and events, effectively delivering internal and external communications, leading the active management of all social media channels and outputs to driving a cohesive brand portfolio, to support business’ growth strategy.

**Your role and responsibilities**:

- Actively manage the Company’s social media presence across all platforms to promote engagement and enhance visibility of the brand.
- Update the website with content according to SEO best-practices.
- Establish and implement analysis of the impact and effectiveness of activities using campaign analytics tools; Measuring ROI of all campaigns including paid promotion channels.
- Work with the heads of business to understand company culture, services and identify communication requirements (internal and external).
- Design and maintain all aspects of marketing and communications materials, in line with the brand portfolio, across all channels and events, including digital content and print media.
- Ability to produce engaging written content in a language and form suitable for our B2B audience and internal colleagues.
- Event/exhibition planning, including promotion, materials, and third-party resource management.
- Develop and deliver strategies for improving communications, through new and existing channels, to raise the company’s profile externally and within an established customer base.
- Perform detailed background research and analysis to support client focused initiatives.
- Take on and actively participate in any other duties and projects that may arise.

**Your skills and experience**:
**Essential**:

- Extensive career expertise across Campaign Management & Strategy in a B2B organisation.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and SEO.
- Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills in a commercial environment.
- Visual design skills for social and marketing materials.
- Marketing database management and optimisation.
- Strong organisation skills, flexible workload approach and deadline planning.
- Graphic Design Software & Tools experience.
- Experience using Social Media Tools and Platforms.
- Familiarity with communication and project organisation platforms.

**Desirable**:

- Degree in Marketing or Business.
- Google Academy Certified Skills.
