Head of Operations - Health Care

£80,000 - £90000 + Package

Nottingham - withtravel to sites across the East Midlands

Sf Recruitment require a Head of Operations to join an owner managed healthcare business with exciting growth plans. With 5 sites across the East Midlands this commercially focused role is a crucial role in the delivery of exceptional operational runningof our clients business. This role is ideally suited to a commercially focused individual with broad experience overseeing day to day operations and central functions within a fast paced environment. Our client is looking for an individual who can bring plentyof drive and ownership of the role

Our client operates within the highly regulated healthcare sector and high on their strategic agenda is the maximising commercial opportunities for their business. This role, sitting as part of the senior leadership team is instrumental in driving this andwill be the crucial link between the business and key 3rd parties relationships.

Reporting to the owner of the business and sitting as part of our clients senior leadership team the key priorities:

- Management of a team of 10 direct reports across operations HR and central functions, in addition this role is integral in owning responsibility for staffing levels across each of the sites
- Lead on projects to review and identify cost saving opportunities and areas where efficiencies can be created, new business development, identification of commercial opportunities including potential acquisitions/new site identification
- Oversee operations including all compliance and regulatory requirements
- Management of key stakeholder relationships

Experience required

You are experienced working within the SME space (not necessarily healthcare but an appreciation and ability to operate within a high regulated sector is pretty important so you will need strong synergies within the sectors you have worked in already tobe considered). This role is a true blend of operational leadership/people management and business leadership so you will have an eye for maximising every commercial opportunity by really getting under the skin of our client’s business, potential opportunities,areas for improvement and efficiency creation. You possess exceptional leadership skills and the ability to work as a true partner to the business

You have a proactive, solutions focused “can-do” attitude; willing to work with persistence and enthusiasm in suggesting and implementing the best commercial solutions to business problems. You are a strong and effective communicator at all levels of thebusiness.
