The brand delivers a mix of news, analysis, reviews, opinion, and in-depth features to help information-rich, time-poor professionals make the right tech decisions and add value to their organization.

**What you'll be doing...**

As Staff writer (IT Pro), you will be responsible for four main areas:
1. Contributing to the daily news output, including working with editors on pitches and writing/optimising content, with a particular focus on specific areas to be agreed as your ‘beat’ as well as creating other content such as features, opinion pieces, reviews and more as and when required

2. Working with other stakeholders to ensure news content has maximum effect and reach, whether through SEO, direct traffic or other distribution channels, such as newsletters, social and more

3. Ensuring output meets our reader-focused goals and is of the highest quality as well as supporting our main revenue streams or ecommerce and demand generation

4. Assisting with news-related tasks as requested by your line manager/key stakeholders, including but not limited to the creation of newsletters, features, reviews and other content types and representing IT Pro at events

- The ability to lead by example and play a key role in the successful planning and execution of content strategy
- Drive and a keenness to develop yourself into a high-performing individual writer and as part of a content-driven team
- Communicate effectively with other writers and senior management
- Work using your own initiative and collaboratively with the team and otherstakeholders/brands to build and maintain a successful B2B division

This is a Hybrid role from our London Office, working three days from the office, two from home
