**About the role**

Our new London staff writer will help the Time Out team cover the city comprehensively by writing and updating news posts, features, listings and more, covering the full diversity of London’s cultural life - from new trends to major city events, the biggest tourist spots to the newest openings.

Our content goes big on food, drink, culture (both low and high) and offbeat, under-the-radar things to do. - Be a key contributor to Time Out’s social and video content, including writing social posts and scripts, editing video in social apps, travelling to venues across the city and appearing on-screen where appropriate.
- Break rising stories and trends, keeping a finger on the pulse of city life and culture.
- Be informed by digital analytics to ensure published work is contributing towards team goals.
- Expand Time Out’s London coverage with new ideas, content opportunities and formats.
- Ensure Time Out’s editorial standards are met, all relevant copyrights have been cleared and content meets all legal guidelines.
