- Our client is a leading manufacturing plant with production sites worldwide and is offering a chance for a trainee to become a fully trained Mill operative with their guidance. This opportunity will include a comprehensive training and development to allow you to retain the necessary skills and expertise to take the business forward.
- Your job responsibilities will include:
- Participate in thorough training and development initiatives to ensure acquisition and retention of essential skills and knowledge necessary for advancing the business.- Adhere to prescribed safety protocols, including utilising provided control measures for health and safety purposes such as safe work practices and personal protective gear.- Promptly report all accidents, incidents, and potential hazards, and cooperate in investigations pertaining to health, safety, and environmental concerns.- Demonstrate responsibility for personal and collective health and safety within the work environment.- Continuously enhance and adapt skills to accommodate evolving technologies, methodologies, and flexible work arrangements, while also supporting the development and training of team members.- Identify and report any significant hazards or deficiencies that pose risks to individuals, the environment, or company assets.- Maintain awareness of responsibilities outlined in company management systems and accreditation standards, remaining updated through training sessions and company communication channels.Experience and skills:
- A keen, motivated self-starter- Good communication skills- Ability to work well within a team- Flexibility- Willingness to learn and progress- 5 GCSE's Grades A-C- FLT Licence (desirable)What you will get in return:
