Schools Policy Statement on the Recruitment of Ex-Offenders
We are seeking an outstanding professional to support Post 16 students in our rapidly expanding Sixth Form. The Attendance and Pastoral Support Officer will help secure excellent attendance and the provision of high-quality care and welfare for all students.
- The role will include responsibility for monitoring the attendance of all Sixth Form students and will work collaboratively with the Director of Studies and the Post 16 Pastoral Support Leader, assisted by a substantial team of Form Tutors.
- The Post 16 Attendance and Pastoral Support Officer will also work alongside the main school Attendance and Pastoral Support Officer, to assist with the implementation of whole school strategies to raise attendance. As a member of the wider Student Support Team, they will be part of a vibrant, experienced, and dedicated team of professionals who provide excellent support for all of our students.
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills are essential, together with the ability to organise and utilise the capacity of a team. Applicants should have appropriate qualifications and/or relevant experience in working with young people.
