Elevation Engineering and Manufacturing are delighted to be partnered with a growing food producer to recruit a Stores Person based at their facility in Selby.

This Stores Person will report to the Stores Supervisor and will assist with deliveries and receipt of goods and inventory control.
Responsibilities of the Stores Person will include:

- Unloading deliveries both manually and using forklift truck or telehandler
- Issuing parts as required
- Liaising with procurement department regarding deliveries and discrepancies
- Organising and delivering goods from stores to departments
- Keeping accurate recording of transactions
- Collect parts from local suppliers as requested
- Assist in regular stock taking, managing stock, and reducing the risk of stock loss
- Assist in the implementation of the new stores and spare parts system
- Assist with associated duties within a busy production site
We are looking to speak to Stores Persons who possess the following:

- Previous experience in store person role or similar role
- Comfortable working outside in all elements of weather
- Good observational skills with a good eye for detail
- Effect written and verbal communications skills
- Hold a valid forklift truck licence
- Full clean driving licence
- Telehandler licence (training can be provided)
