Retrofit Assistant

_Borthwick Heating_ is a company established in 2008, operating from the North East and across the UK. We work through the ECO4 scheme, which focuses on reducing carbon emissions, and are constantly expanding, with a workforce of over 150 staff, 70+ vans and completing thousands of installs yearly.

We are currently looking for a Retrofit Assistant to work alongside our team of Retrofit Co-ordinators. An important aspect of this is managing energy efficiency projects for the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) and delivery of retrofit energy efficiency measures in partnership with an extensive number of energy suppliers, installers, and other agencies. You will learn skills such as:

- Reading floor plans and identifying key areas of the home
- Interpreting and producing Energy Performance Certificates for domestic properties
- Using our current systems to input data
- Identifying property and heating system ages
- Identifying insulation types

Key qualities:

- IT literate, experience working with MS Office
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Passionate about sustainability and renewable energy
- Administrative skills

Please note, this role is vital to enable the work throughout the company, therefore, someone with a high attention to detail and a focused attitude is key.

**Salary**: £22,000 per annum

Work pattern: Full time, 8:00AM-16:00PM Monday to Friday
