The Responsive Workforce Team (RWT) is part of the DCHS workforce strategy aimed at ensuring that quality people are available to deliver a quality service in line with the DCHS Way.

The RWT will provide high quality professional nursing care in a range of locations and specialties'.

Team members will need to be flexible about location, working patterns and environment as they will be required to regularly face new challenges in both hospital and community settings.

Team members will receive training and support to enable working in both hospital and community settings.

Team Members will be required to assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care in the most efficient and clinically effective way whilst maintaining the patient's privacy and dignity.

To provide advice and support to junior staff in the delivery of high quality care and actively support the local manager in the management of the health care environment.

The role requires specialist knowledge across a range of procedures underpinned by theory to enable them to work in a variety of settings.
