My client is looking for a motivated and talented purchase ledger professional to join its accounts team.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Ensuring all invoices are registered on receipt and ensure that all invoices have the appropriate ledger code
- Sending remittances to suppliers
- Assisting in automation of purchase ledger processes
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Payment processing and authorisation
- Investigating purchase ledger queries
- Creating company reports
- Liaising with suppliers
- Morning banking
- Daily cashflow
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Processing personal and company expenses
- Fuel card reconciliation

**Skills and Experience**:

- Experience of purchase ledger, bank reconciliations and payment portals
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience with the full process of BACS payment runs
- Strong / advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, SUMIFS, VLOOKUPS)
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent Communication skills both verbal and written
- Working understanding of VAT
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Can-do attitude
- Experience in dealing with Clean Import Loan (desirable)
- Manufacturing experience (desirable)
