As a Senior Support Worker you will:

- Provide support to the Team Leaders & Care Managers in motivating, managing and coaching a team of support workers to maintain a stable, happy and caring environment
- Provide appropriate physical and emotional support to the children and young people
- As the shift leader, you will be expected to support the induction of new team members, and their continued mentoring & development towards QCF & other mandatory training
- Be expected to take an active role in ensuring that activities are completed and effectively delegated
- This is very much a hands on role, where you will work directly with the young people and will provide appropriate personal care and emotional support

To be successful as a Senior Support Worker you will:

- Hold a QCF Level 3 in Childcare or a QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare
- Have experience and knowledge of working with children with complex needs and additional behaviour
- Have superb communication skills
- Be highly organised and able to lead and motivate a team

In return, my client is offering an annual salary of up to £26,645 per annum. Please note, this is a full-time, permanent position.
