**The role**

The Learning & Development Specialist will have responsibility for supporting Shoosmiths’ people in a range of internal development activities.

The Learning & Development Specialist will report to a senior member of the team - to help evolve, improve & deliver the firm’s Learning & Development Strategy; aligning the learning needs of our people with the strategic ambitions & objectives of the firm.The selected individual will role model our Shoosmiths’ values, **focussing on what matters, making a difference,delivering together**and**being ourselves.**

**Main responsibilities**
- Virtual & face-to-face one-to-one and group coaching across the firm, from Trainees through to Senior/Principal Associates.
- Delivering workshops and development programmes using virtual, face-to-face & hybrid delivery; minimising time away from the business, whilst delivering maximum impact.
- Co-facilitating Team Development sessions to support the realisation of our organisational strategy.
- Leading/supporting any L&D-related elements of business projects.
- Designing employee centric development programmes, using a blended learning approach.
