At Kilvie House we have a large, dedicated staff team who are well regarded and commended by relatives, who trust the team to ensure their loved one is well looked after.

The home is a busy and fast-paced environment where we support 8 people with Learning Disabilities, Dementia and Sensory Impairments and people with complex needs in regards to eating and drinking, mobility and emotional wellbeing. Our residents are supported to lead the care they receive and live as independently as possible.

As an Assistant Team Leader, your responsibilities will include working collaboratively with the support team and nursing team to provide truly person-centred care, while ensuring the safe running of the home. You will write and implement person-centred care plans for all non-clinical care and supervise the support team and support their professional development. You will also be liaising with external teams and teams within the wider organisation.

**The successful Assistant Team leader will**:

- Have good knowledge of using computers and electronic systems.
- Be warm, friendly and maintain professional boundaries at all times.
- Be ambitious and willing to develop skills and knowledge.
- Be able to manage their time effectively and prioritise tasks, according to need.
- Have a diploma level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or be willing to work towards this
