**Your key responsibilities**:

- Supporting the Design Manager in delivering Advanced Creative Design (A&CD) objectives.
- Developing creative mobility solutions which embody Alstom’s brand DNA and Perceived Quality values and are perceived by customers as best in class.
- Create design solutions that are compliant to applicable technical, contractual, legal and standards requirements.
- Timely delivery of A&CD deliverables to support project milestones.
- Working in accordance with applicable A&CD processes and policies.
- Working together with stakeholders affect or are affected by appearance requirements to achieve satisfactory outcomes.
- Keeping abreast of design trends.
- Responsible for the development and final definition of the visible surfaces of our products, both exterior and interior.

**Minimum qualifications**:

- Design Degree essential. Master's Degree - desirable.
- At least 2-years’ experience working in a multifunctional engineering environment delivering complex technical solutions.
- Good written and spoken English.

**Experience**:

- Experience of contributing design thinking and skills to multifunctional engineering teams.
- Experience of designing for manufacture and assembly using a range of materials and methods.
- Able to communicate effectively with internal partners.
- Experience using Autodesk Alias, VRED, and physical mock-up making desirable.
- Knowledge of railway industry desirable.

- Adobe CC.
- Able to solve complex problems and present innovative solutions.
- Strong teamworking ethic with a drive for results.
- Strives for cross-team collaboration and leads by example, i.e. actions, behaviour and delivery.
- Strong empathy for the various actors in the lifecycle of a product; manufacturing, users, maintainers, etc.
- Flexibility, able to work on multiple projects.
- Supports development of colleagues, encouraging development and recognizing success.
- Able to communicate design proposals effectively using a range of mediums and techniques.
