Technician Engineer for Area Central.

Responsible for the supporting the tunnelling SCL works on site. Supporting the site engineer with quality checks and/or surveying tasks. Support engineers organising data produced on site and organising site records. Support foreman with all daily/weeklychecks required on site and updating trackers. Updating concrete trackers and volumes used against site records.

**Role Responsibility**
- Support the Shift engineers and Project engineers ensuring all site records are correctly stored and organized for the SCL works.
- Responsible for supporting the site engineers for the SCL works on site: checking the excavation is within tolerance, directing the thickness of the sprayed concrete lining, preparation and completion of checksheets to record all details related to theSCL works.
- Ensure the works are conducted in accordance with the project requirements including health and safety, where this is not observed reporting the non-conformance to the shift manager or supervisor.
- Be conversant with all drawings, specifications and related information for the works under their control, asking for advice when unsure.
- Keep a full and accurate daily site diary, including any changes / variations, subcontractors’ attendance, and records of work-related discussions with client / designer / RE / project team.
- Prepare the Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), Plans and Procedures for the
- Work with the construction and quality teams to complete Inspection and Test Plans (ITP’s) for the control of the works ensuring that all necessary documentation and checksheets are produced in a timely manner.
- Ensure all setting-out and quality control procedures are performed in a timely and efficient manner, so as not to impede the construction programme.

Understand the Client and Joint Venture Partners' Environment and Sustainability Policies, Processes and statutory requirements as they affect the company's operations and ensure that the requirements, as applicable within their discipline, are implementedon the project

**Required qualifications,skills, behaviours and attributes**
- CSCS card.
- Engineering/Technical Degree / HNC or similar in a construction discipline.

The Skanska | Costain | STRABAG (SCS JV) is delivering the HS2 London Tunnels Contract. Scope of works includes twin-bored tunnels (TBM), SCL tunnels, shaft sinking, bridge demolition and reconstruction, services diversions, earthworks and the constructionof site compounds.
