**Role : Civil Engineering General Foreman**

**Salary: £35,000-£40,000/annum depending on experience + Van**

**Hours: 45hrs/week**

**The Role**

My client is looking for an experienced Civil Engineering General Foreman covering Cumbria, the Borders and southwest Scotland.

You will be a competent tradesman who has made a successful transition into supervision with a minimum of 5 year’s experience, working as a foreman for a main contractor or sub-contractor on Civil Engineering projects with values upto £5m. You will be comfortable and confident managing and leading teams of civils operatives, sub-contractors and plant operators.

You must have a CSCS skills card and either SSSTS or SMSTS supervision qualification along with a First aid certificate. We would expect to see a combination of the following training as a minimum including; abrasive wheel operation, confined spaces, forward tipping dumper as an example.
