**Salary**: £36000 + depending on experience

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Complete various activities to ensure alignment between the Communications teams and other functions/divisions and events (trade shows, internal recognitions, joint briefings and all hands calls)
- Work with stakeholders across the team to ensure appropriate material is approved for campaigns, tracked and controlled
- Publish content on company employee communications channels
- Be responsible for supporting the delivery of the communications elements of the business plan
- Be the BAU responsible person for ensuring any internal requests for employee communication support is triaged and prioritised, supporting the internal communication business partners in delivering for our internal customers
- Be the BAU responsible person for ensuring our ‘self-serve’ intranet space is kept up-to-date with the latest templates and tools to support colleagues across the functions with appropriate communication materials
- Regularly publish a summary impact report on the internal communications activities the team has supported
- Liaise with external agencies, such as graphic designers and videographers, as appropriate, briefing them on communication activities and projects
- Ad-hoc coordination and communication support to internal communication business partners as appropriate.

**Your skills and experiences**:

- Experience using communications Content Management Systems (desirable, not essential)
- Experience using Microsoft SharePoint (desirable, not essential)
- Ideally previous experience of working in a communications or content function
- The role would suit an individual who is passionate about joining a communications function working for a multi-national company focusing initially on internal employee communications

**The Group Employee Communications Team**:
Working as a Communications Associate for BAE Systems you will join an employee communications team of 12 people. The team is responsible for ensuring that employee communications across the group are strategically and purposefully aligned, with the goal of generating employee advocacy.
