**Human Resource Advisor - Heckmondwike WF16**

**Salary**:

- £28,000 pro rata

**Report To** - Operations Team

Aspire in the Community is a well-established provider of services for people whose require support because of a learning disability, Autism spectrum disorder, challenging behaviours and mental health needs.

**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES**:

- Provide an efficient and service user focused HR service which supports all aspects of
an employee’s relationship and engagement with the company, including recruitment,
terms and conditions of employment, training and development activities, ensuring
compliance with employment law and company policies.
- Build effective working relationships with colleagues on all levels, providing advice and
guidance on a range of HR policies and HR related issues to support understanding and
ensure effective communication of good HR practice.
- Take responsibility for the implementation of all HR policy, ensuring that all HR issues
are dealt with within the timescales as stated in company policy
- Providing committed HR advice in issues like health and advice, grievance matters,
conduct and capability, organisational change and employee and employment relations
matters.
- Developing and maintaining productive and collaborative relationships with all
colleagues and external professionals such as union representatives, demonstrating
professional credibility
- Leading management of casework including sickness absence, making
recommendations, giving support and advice to managers.
- Developing managers in performance management culture area by leading the
capability-related casework, guiding and advising managers with relevant policies.
- Supporting managers grievance and disciplinary casework, ensuring the
implementation of policy, legislation and best practice.
- Preparing ad hoc and regular management reports supporting in improvement of
management and monitoring performance management and sickness absence
systems.
- Providing HR advice, ensuring compliance with current employment law.
- Supervising and authorising the preparation and delivery of appropriate contractual
documents regarding terminations, appointments and employment variations.
- To support the organisation with employee retention.
- To provide support to gain employee feedback whilst in employment and following
their exit form the company.
- Keeping up to date information regarding developments in human resources practices,
employment legislation, and sharing of knowledge within team.
- Maintaining and updating computerised and manual payroll and HR information
systems and ensuring accurate
- Participating in training activities, encouraging and supporting managers and deputy
managers in their training and development.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Human Resource qualified including membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) to level 3 as a minimum.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
