Stock Controller

Blue Arrow currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our worldwide client in Stoke On Trent, ST3 area. The work is long term ongoing with permanent opportunities in the future. You will be working in a small team and in an excellent clean modern working environment.

Daily tasks include:
Stock Controller responsibilities include tracking shipments, overseeing inventory audits and maintaining reports of purchases and pricing. To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with supply chain procedures and have good communication skills to interact with vendors, clients and internal teams.

Ultimately, you will increase profitability and effectiveness by maintaining optimal stock levels of quality products at all times.

**Responsibilities**:

- Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock (OOS)
- Enter purchase details (vendors information, invoices and pricing) into internal databases
- Place orders to replenish merchandise as needed
- Track shipments and address any delays
- Oversee storage of products, particularly of fragile items
- Evaluate suppliers' offers and negotiate profitable deals
- Coordinate regular inventory audits
- Liaise with warehouse staff and other internal teams to test products' quality (status upon delivery and storage conditions)
- Keep updated inventory records (including daily shipments)
- Ensure purchases do not exceed budget

The Applicant:

- Good time keeping / reliable
- Able to understand written and oral instructions in English
- Work as part of a team - (remote)
- Solo working, self-managing is a must - regular basis
- Computer literate - required
- Customer focused - required
- Able to present positive impression of self and BT Supply Chain
- Self-motivated
- Knowledge of warehouse type work would be an advantage
- Able to drive - car licence-desirable but not essential.

**Benefits**:

- 28 days Paid Annual Leave increasing to 33 days after 12 weeks pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
- Possible permanent position following a successful trial period
- Training Provided

Hours:
Monday to Friday 07:00 - 15:30

Pay:
£14.05 P/H

IMPORTANT - This Role does require a standard a DBS within 28 days are starting. Blue Arrow can assist you with this.
