Our Client is a well known M&E business, providing electrical, plumbing and heating services across the industry. OSP are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our clients company.

With a positive attitude, a team player and someone who can take ownership of tasks, working in an office and with experience in the Construction/M&E industry, this position will have responsibility for the following:

- Liaising with suppliers and contractors
- Liaising with staff in other departments (e.g., Operations, Office Manager etc.)
- Making sure that customer and supplier accounts are accurate (reconciling)
- Collating Payments and generating invoices
- Receiving, processing and filing paperwork
- Inputting information into a computer-based accounts system (Xero)
- Keeping track of figures by working with spreadsheets Checking/verifying calculations to make sure they're correct
- Preparing, organising, and storing information on paper and by digital form.
- Previous experience and knowledge of Xero is preferred but not essential

Administrative experience and substantial IT knowledge and understanding, is essential. You must be willing to learn and be proactive, with strong organisational skills. You will be expected to prioritise your own workload and work to deadlines in a busy but friendly office environment. You will need to have good analytical skills, a good grasp of numeracy and be thorough paying attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
