We are looking for someone to join our team to help grow generous and financially sustainable churches.

The Diocese of Leeds has been awarded partial funding for the post by the Church of England Giving Advisor Fund for a period of five years.

The Stewardship Officer will work alongside two other Diocesan Stewardship Officers to help parishes to achieve the levels of income they need to fulfil their mission objectives.

They will have the opportunity to develop online learning materials, hold instructional webinars and events and speak to church leaders and clergy, including senior clergy about all aspects of generosity and giving.

They will play a key role in ensuring clergy and church leaders are confident in growing and leading generous churches.

They must be able to evidence that they have lead generosity initiatives in a Christian or Church context or other relevant Christian discipleship activities will be considered.

A competitive package includes a competitive salary, flexi-time scheme, reimbursement of car and travelling expenses, an 8% non-contributory pension with an additional 5% matched contributions and 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays and four customarydays a year (between Christmas and New Year).
