We have built an immensely dedicated team of regeneration specialists, and our progress has been swift. Playing to our strengths, the team have secured two large funding awards for large-scale regeneration projects under the government’s Levelling Up Fund in both Bury and Radcliffe. We’ve developed two regionally significant Joint Ventures with national developers in Prestwich and Bury which will transform each town centre over the next few years. Our Brownfield Housing Delivery Programme has unlocked nearly 900 new homes in only the last six months We’re ambitious, relentless and dedicated to pushing our Borough forward on behalf of our diverse and creative communities and businesses.

We are offering a fantastic opportunity to get involved in our ambitious regeneration agenda. Bury is dedicated to developing new talent and we are looking for a creative and driven individual to join our talented team as a Graduate Regeneration Officer. The successful individual will work across our diverse portfolio of projects, initially focusing on the Levelling Up Funded Radcliffe Hub project.

The £40m Radcliffe Hub project is jointly funded by Bury Council and the Department for Levelling Up, Communities and Housing (Levelling Up Fund). The project comprises community and leisure facilities, flexible workspace, a library, events space, beautiful public realm and is designed to provide opportunities for enhanced coordination between the Council, NHS and other Public Sector partners, alongside community organisations.

The scope of the project has been developed in line with the strategic regeneration framework for Radcliffe and is being delivered alongside other significant transportation, education and housing initiatives. The project is currently on site and will begin construction in the Spring.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual keen to take their first steps into the field of construction project management and regeneration. Mentoring will be provided by qualified and experienced officers, and you will be given responsibility right from the start. You will work within a team of supportive officers covering disciplines such as surveying, construction, housing development, planning, and economic development.
