We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Pet Carer to join our team at ProudMaid Ltd. Your commitment to their well-being and happiness will make a difference in the lives of both the pets and their owners.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide attentive and compassionate care to pets, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Feed, groom, and exercise pets according to their needs and schedules.
- Administer medications or treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic environment for pets, including cleaning living spaces, litter boxes, and cages.
- Monitor pet’s health and behavior, reporting any unusual changes to the Client.
- Engage in playtime and interactive activities with pets to promote mental and physical stimulation.
- Walk dogs and supervise outdoor activities in a safe and controlled manner.
- Assist in handling customer inquiries and maintaining accurate records.
- Comfortably handle pets of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
- Provide updates to pet owners about their pet’s well-being and activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Genuine love for animals and a strong commitment to their welfare.
- Previous experience in pet care, animal shelter, veterinary clinic or similar setting is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of pet behavior, health, and nutrition.
- Ability to lift and carry pets of various sizes and administer basic medical care.
- Ability to interact effectively with pet owners.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Certification in pet first aid or relevant training is a plus.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £18.00 per hour
